MICROSCOPY, CONFOCAL AND IMAGING

The Microscopy, Confocal and Imaging Service (SMCI) provides services for obtaining, analysing and processing images for subsequent use in research, both to IRNASA staff and to other public research bodies, universities and private companies.

The SMCI is part of the Spanish Network of Advanced Optical Microscopy (REMOA), whose aim is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and promote collaborations between the different Microscopy Laboratories and Services located in Centres and Institutes in Spain, encouraging the use of the technical and human resources available, and favouring research in this field.
